Private House, London SW20

Hother Associates acted as Quantity Surveyors on the total renovation and partial re-build of this large private house, including the construction of a new swimming pool and tennis court.

The building was a listed former hospital building, which was transformed into a single high quality residence with ancillary staff accommodation.

At the outset of the contract the building was in a derelict state but was stripped out, partially re-built and then refurbished to the highest standards with high quality finishes and bespoke joinery fittings throughout.

The grounds within which the building is set were extensively landscaped and a new heated swimming pool constructed.

All of the above had to be carried out under the supervision of English Heritage and also with particular attention paid to preventing disturbance to neighbours and one of the largest badger colonies in London.
